As the successful candidate, you will:

• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the Electrical Engineering scope of work
• Develop discipline design and associated engineering deliverables to support feasibility studies and detailed engineering
• Provide input into capital estimates and project schedules
• Provide key discipline input to multi-discipline project teams
• Provision of on-site construction and commissioning technical support.
• Provide leadership and create a highly committed and aligned team environment focused on delivering positive project outcomes for the client

You will bring to this role:

• A degree in engineering with demonstrated experience commensurate with CPEng status
• Design and engineering experience in the mining and metals, infrastructure or energy sectors (or similar heavy industries)
• Experience in the investigation, planning and supervision of construction works and/or maintenance activities in operational facilities
• Be competent in performing electrical studies (e.g. load flow, arc fault, protection grading) including the use of power system modelling packages (i.e. SKM PTW, ETAP); experience in field instrumentation and industrial control systems would also be advantageous.
• Have current knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and study criteria pertinent to electrical engineering, ensuring compliance of design work with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients on a technical and interpersonal level
